Originally from the Vendée, Simon graduated from the Bordeaux Faculty of Oenology in 2000 and gained experience working in the region’s vineyards, from Médoc crus to estates in Pessac. For the past 20 years, he has been a unifying presence, bringing our teams together while advising clients in France and across Europe.

A Complementary International Perspective

An international outlook that complements the holistic approach at the heart of his work: respecting places, people and history to craft wines that remain deeply connected to their terroir.

Alongside his role at Vignerons Consultants, Simon Blanchard puts his biodynamic convictions into practice on a small vineyard in Montagne-Saint-Émilion. Through his wines, Guitard and Au Champ de la Fenêtre, he expresses a parcel-driven vision of the region, highlighting the unique character and identity of each vineyard site.
